How to Add or Change a Recovery Email Address

A recovery email address helps you reset your mailbox password when you’ve forgotten It. In the event you’ve forgotten your mailbox password, reset instructions will be sent to this email address.

Follow the steps below to add or change the recovery email address for your mailbox.

  1. Log in to webmail i.e.
  2. On the top menu bar, click More to expand the drop-down menu, then click Settings.
  3. In the User card section, enter an email address in the Recovery Email Address field.
  4. Click Save.


  • When you log in to your mailbox for the first time, you will be prompted to add a recovery email address. Adding a recovery address at that time bypasses the steps above. Use the steps above if you didn’t add a recovery email address when you first logged in.
