Blocking an email address can protect you from unwanted or harmful emails by preventing them from reaching your inbox. Here are the steps to block an email address:
- Log in to webmail e.g. https://webmail.yourdomain.com.
- On the top menu bar, click More to expand the drop-down menu, then click Settings.
- On the left menu bar, click Spam Filtering (1).
- Click on Blocked Senders (2) to add an email address to your Blocked Senders list.
- Enter the email address you want to block, then click Save.
- Click Save at the top of the content pane.
Note:
Click on the Blocked Sender Action drop-down menu and select an option to determine what happens to unwanted emails. Options include: None, Move to Junk Email Folder, Move to Deleted Items Folder, or Delete. The default setting is Move to Junk Email Folder.
